A granny flat or granny cabins on your property can be the perfect solution if you’re worrying about an elderly relative living on their own. They have the comfort and security of the family home close by, but everyone in the family can maintain their independence and their own living patterns.
Many 21st century grandparents are now thoroughly modern people, and appreciate the innovative design, space-saving features and affordability of our homes.
We also take special care of elderly people who have lived in their own home for years and may have recently lost their partner. We spend ample time ensuring they’re happy with the design of their new unit, the fittings, finishes and colour schemes, and the use of space for hobbies such as sewing, art or computers.
Granny flat or granny cabins can be planned for current or future special needs, such as an area for day nurses, access aids including ramps and handles, and specially designed bathrooms and wet areas.
Site inspections are free within metropolitan Melbourne, and we organise the connection of all services such as water, sewerage and electricity.
